Over the last number of seasons, the membership costs have been held with very little adjustments.
It will come as no surprise that the costs of running the club have not remained steady and so this season the executive has had to re-profile the membership rates.
The club gratefully appreciates all who pay their membership subscriptions, which is a key income source. Disappointingly, some sectors are not contributing as they aught, this places an unfair burden on everyoen else. However, if every member (be they player young or old, alecadoo, volunteer, coach, manager, etc) paid, then the rates can be re-examined. With the club fielding up to 20 teams during the season, costs re facilites, pitches, equipment, jerseys, footballs, buses, showers, floodlighting, etc., are substantial. Buccaneers RFC will do all we can to ensure no one is denied participation due to financial circustances.
All Subscriptions are due by October 31st by which date they must be paid in full before representing the club at any level. Non members can not play. This policy will be enforced.
NOTE:- The IRFU recommends that each player undertake their own Personal Accident Insurance cover against any injury sustained from playing the game itself during the rugby season. The club does NOT compensate for any medical expenses incurred.
